IS-HS Governance

Technology is constantly changing. To assist IS-HS in supporting the business and organizational strategic plans; technology investments and initiatives are evaluated by Workgroups each focusing on ensuring support for:

• Access to Care: includes medical records, scheduling, registration and billing
• Provision of Care: includes clinical workflow
• Population Health Management: includes quality and process improvements
• Administrative Systems: includes payroll, materials management, risk management, marketing, and compliance
• Infrastructure: includes the underlying technology such as networking, storage, security, and back-end systems

These Workgroup recommendations are used to create investment roadmaps that are vetted and then forwarded to the Information Services - HS Executive Committee (ISEC) for approval and action.
