Medical Laboratory

The Laboratory, as defined in our Quality Plan, is the Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC) and LLUMC East Campus Hospital Laboratories and other sites within our purview. Sections include Blood Bank, Clinical Laboratory, Pathology Lab, Autopsy, Histocompatibility and Center for Transplant Immunology Research.

The Laboratory provides testing services for all age groups both in the inpatient and outpatient environment. Services include Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Urinalysis, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, Microbiology (including Mycobacteriology and Mycology, Parasitology, Virology and Routine Bacteriology), Transfusion Medicine, Diagnostic Immunology and Syphilis Serology, Anatomic Pathology, Cytology, Histocompatibility, Flow Cytometry, Point of Care Testing, Electron Microscopy, and Molecular Pathology. Clinical Consultants are available for all provided services.
