Areas of Service

The IS-HS department provides implementation, management, and support services for technology systems across the enterprise. These services include support to our customers, system selection and approval, voice and data network application development, system installation and implementation, programming, project management, application support for clinical and non-clinical area, and reports.

In order to provide support to our over 10,000 employees, IS-HS is separated into Service Groups specializing in certain areas:

• Applications Services: responsible for implementing and supporting the electronic health record (EHR) and related solutions.
• Business Services: responsible for providing the Information Services department and other automation areas with financial insight, contract negotiation/management, talent acquisition coordination, personnel development, and technology lifecycle management tools.
• Cable TV and Media Services: responsible supporting cable TV, creative video production, digital streaming, audio-visual (AV) rental, electronic signage, AV for events as well as conference room and auditorium AV setups.
• Data Governance and Analytics: assist the organization with data capture, data provisioning, and data analysis to help influence operational improvements.
• Information Services Security: responsible for protecting information and information systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction.
• Rapid Cycle Deployment/Care Connect: provides early and continuous delivery and implementation of valuable automation-enabled solutions organization wide and to our community affiliates.
• Strategic Services (Formerly Strategy): responsible for providing vision and leadership to our partners in support of more effective and efficient healthcare informatics practices. (Includes Strategic Services Service Desk, Solution Services)
• Unified Infrastructure: provides the application and system designs, network and workstation management and maintenance of the technical infrastructure within the organization. (Includes Unified Infrastructure: CNS, NOC, Workstation Mgmt., Network Mgmt. Svc, Computer Resource Mgmt.)
