New High-Sensitivity Troponin Test
Providers and Nurses should be aware of a new high-sensitivity Troponin blood test that will go-live on March 1, 2021.
Loma Linda University Health is switching to a high-sensitivity cardiac troponin T (hs-cTnT) assay which detects very low levels of cTnT allowing for quicker determination of myocardial ischemia/infarction in adults and children.
The facilities affected are: Medical Center, East Campus, Surgical Hospital, Children’s Hospital, and Murrieta Hospital.
