Owning a One Portal Website
Adjust.
- Once your site is up and running, you will find that some content is popular, some is ignored and some is just plain cumbersome.
- The Web Center team will provide you an analytics report to help reveal insights about how your audience is using your website.
- This will show you which pages or resources are most viewed, utilized or engaging. Be prepared to re-align your strategy in response to who is viewing your site and how they are doing so.
Maintain.
- To request updates to your website, complete a Web Support Request Form to add, edit/replace or delete content. This form is available in the footer of One Portal.
- To ensure a good customer experience, we recommend that all inquiries receive a response within 24 hours.
- Site managers should be updating the content at the following minimum frequency:
- Review pages, including media and documents, every quarter to identify and update outdated content.
Review.
- Review your analytics reports and discuss how to improve the utilization of your website. Check pages with less than 100 views in a quarterly period to decide whether to rewrite or remove.
- The Web Center reserves the right to remove any outdated/under utilized content for any website that is not updated/reviewed for 2 consecutive quarters; failure to reach the standard after that time will result in unpublishing the site
