Scrub Access
A. Since 8/01/2021 - the opening of Troesh Medical Campus (TMC), we now have two (2) different scrub systems (from 2 different vendors) that do not link or communicate with each other:
- Referred to as the TMC Scrub System: Troesh Medical Campus (TMC building only) – uses scrubEx machines.
- Access is department-specific (scrub users are only given access to areas work they in).
- Referred to as the Hinshaw Scrub System (formerly MC/Vintage/Cloverleaf): uses Cintas machines.
- This includes scrub machines spread out to 4 campus locations.
- Hinshaw Towers: A-Level Access or CH OR
- Surgical Hospital (SH) OR
- East Campus (EC)
- Outpatient Surgical Center (OSC) OR
- This includes scrub machines spread out to 4 campus locations.
B. LLUH Scrub Machine Locations (only):
Loma Linda, CA locations:
LLUH Hinshaw Towers: CH OR on 2nd floor or A-Level (non-surgical).
LLUH East Campus (EC)
LLUH Outpatient Surgical Center (OSC)

- Access disables at the end of each rotation or contract. Accounts may be re-activated or extended, on the request from your program coordinator or a department’s assigned scrub contact (usually the department admin secretary/assistant or department manager/director).
- Student and Resident accounts are settled at the end of each rotation by each department or school program.
- Graduation Checklists or Scrub Clearance (for any Leave of Absence) are sent to Debbie Marifosque for clearance (via email).
- For Vendors and Contract Staff (includes Travelers and non-LLUH specialists), disposable scrubs are available at each OR location or they have the option to self-register at any Vend-Mate scrub machines, which are located on the main campus at P3 (Visitors Parking Garage, closest to hospital entrance), East Campus (inside the scrub room), SH (inside the dining room, main level) and OSC (inside the main lobby).
