San Bernardino County has ordered that individuals working in healthcare settings should self-screen for the following symptoms and not report to work if symptoms are present. This is a change from our previous institutional guidelines.

Annual TB Testing Postponed

Effective immediately Employee Health Services will postpone the Annual TB/Clearance until further notice. This will apply to all Loma Linda University Health entities.

Our goal is to provide safe customer service to all of our employees. With concerns of the recent trends of the COVID-19 pandemic we will postpone the Annual TB’s Testing/Clearance based on the following:

Social Distance Reminders

Please keep social distancing top of mind while interacting with others in the workplace. Whenever possible, deliberately increase the physical space between people to avoid spreading illness. Staying at least six feet away from others lessens your chances of catching COVID-19 or passing it along to those around you, as does a continual commitment to excellent hand hygiene.

Advanced Urgent Care to close temporarily

After thoughtful review, Loma Linda University Health has chosen to temporarily close the Advanced Urgent Care effective Tuesday, March 31. Through this effort, we are working to limit the potential exposure and spread of COVID-19, and prepare for the possible rapid increase in critical patient care needs. This closure is temporary but will remain in effect until further notice.

Masking guidelines for patients and visitors

Masking Guidelines Clarification: Upon entry into any of our hospitals employees and visitors will be provided a surgical mask. Patients will be provided a surgical mask if they are entering into an outpatient facility or area.
