Scrubs FAQ – Frequent Scenarios

FREQUENT SCENARIOS and WHAT TO DO (to avoid losing credit):

FOR TMC LOCATION ONLY

If you accidentally place personal non-scrub items with your soiled scrub returns:
  1. During Business Hours (see Business Hours listed below): 
    • Call EVS at ext 44326 and ask for the Linen Supervisor.
      5:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Mondays - Fridays
  2. After Business Hours, Weekends and LLUH recognized holidays:
    • Call EVS at ext 44326 and request for an on-duty EVS Supervisor (available 24-hrs/7-days a week).
    • Send an email to cmarifosque@llu.edu with a description of the personal item and date of occurrence.

If you accidentally go to a dispense scrub machine instead of a return scrub machine to return your scrubs:

  1. REMOVE THE DISPENSED SCRUBS FROM THE MACHINE.
  2. RETURN scrubs back to a return machine to get credit back onto your account.

NOTE: Opening and closing the door, while leaving the scrubs in the dispenser machine will cause you to lose your credit.

If the return drawer bin “times-out” (lights have turned-off) before you’re able to close the return drawer bin door:

  1. REMOVE your soiled scrubs from the return drawer bin.
  2. CLOSE the return drawer door.
  3. Wait for the system to re-set and initiate a return process again (or go to another return machine to re-start your return process).

NOTE: Closing the door with your soiled scrubs in the return drawer bin after the machine “times-out” (lights have turned off) will cause you to lose credit.
