Q: Why was this site created?
A: This site was developed so that new Shared Services employees can more easily discover and access online information and resources available to them. We predict that the information here is so valuable and the site helpful that that both new and long-time employees will visit the site often.
Q: There is so much to learn as a new employee. Where do I start?
A: Every member of the advancement team is here to help; we’ve all been there. In fact, if you ask any of us about our first day on the team you will likely find some very interesting stories!
Q: I’ve searched and can’t find something I need. Can it be added to this site?
A: Definitely! We want the site to be the best resource possible. Just email websupport@llu.edu with your idea.
Q: What is a haystack?
A: An iconic Seventh-day Adventist tradition, haystacks have been on the menu of countless Adventist family meals and potlucks since the early 1950s. The recipe is simple: begin with a corn chip base, often Fritos, followed by beans and grated cheddar cheese. Finish with a layer of lettuce and tomatoes and add toppings, which may include sour cream and salsa.
