Social Media Standards
The organization’s social media presence directly reflects Loma Linda University Health’s mission, brand identity and voice. All institutional (branded) use of social media must be authorized by the assistant vice president for Marketing and Communications. There can be no LLUH entity accounts unless they are developed or authorized by the LLUH-approved parties mentioned above (see LLUH operating policy A-71).
In November 2023, University Officers and the LLUH Executive Leadership Council decided to suspend the approval of any new LLU/LLUH branded social media accounts.
We encourage departments, programs, employees and students to submit content/post ideas for our main social media accounts. Content on these pages receive maximum exposure due to the institution’s embedded following. The Loma Linda University Health social media team meticulously coordinates use of our enterprise-level accounts and platforms. A post request or any social media-related questions may be submitted to socialmedia@llu.edu.
