Stories That Matter

Terry Swenson, DMin

Watch Video

  • "Our diversity is God's creative expression."
  • The preamble to diversity is holding the foundational perception that we are all the SAME--all are human and all deserve the rights and respect and love that goes with that.

Farnoosh Zough, PharmD

Watch Video

  • "Bright, talented individuals from different backgrounds can be a foundation for our success."
  • Diversity strengthens us when we accept the uniqueness of each individual and believe that different points of view will enrich us to think differently about issues.

Community support an important part of many faith traditions

As the days grow shorter and the temperature drops to a balmy 70 degrees, the holiday season is full speed ahead. As we keep our focus on the reason for the season at our Christ-centered campus, we can also reflect on the ways our diverse employee population honors faith and family through service projects.

The Human Prisms

A multifaced prism is one of the most beautiful things in nature.  I’ve always been fascinated by prisms because although they are made from a single stone, and appear on their surface as a single color, when you look deep inside them, and gaze through them, you see a complexity that tantalizes your vision.

We Are Our Stories

Let equality resound

The annual commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and work takes place this year on January 18. While still a minister in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. King became a leader in the movement to achieving social justice through nonviolent means. His visionary leadership and powerful oratory changed the conversation on race and social relations in the United States.
