Patient Satisfaction Results to Provider Star Ratings Online

Ratings of healthcare providers are growing in importance and popularity as more patients pay attention to online ratings that measure a provider’s clinical ability as well as the patient experience surrounding their care. With that in mind, LLUFMG leadership is implementing a provider 5-star rating system that will be publicly displayed on the LLUH provider profile page for our patients and consumers.

We collect patient satisfaction data through a standardized survey administered by the National Research Corporation (NRC) on their Real Time platform. Starting in August 2020, patient survey responses will be converted into a provider star rating system that will be published on LLUH provider profiles. Patients currently have access to multiple unmonitored websites where dissatisfied patients voice their anger and frustrations. LLUH wants to tell its own story and ensure consumers have access to robust, current and accurate information from our patients.

Many consumers read online reviews when choosing a healthcare provider or facility. Sharing our patient feedback not only encourages patients to rely on LLUH verified reviews when selecting a provider, but also conveys trust and accountability. It is important that we continue to collect, monitor, analyze, and communicate information about the LLUH patient experience.

We are joining leading healthcare organizations that display patient satisfaction information online. All LLUFMG clinic providers will be part of the NRC 5-star provider rating initiative.
