LLUH Level I Trauma Center maintains an active clinical research program focusing on the evaluation and development of innovative measurement and intervention models for critical and complex trauma.  

Led by Dr. Mukherjee, the Trauma Center Medical Director, our trauma research program is comprised of research associates, trauma research volunteers, a trauma research manager, adult and pediatric trauma program manager, and trauma registry specialists who receive continual supervision and support from trauma specialty attendings, surgical fellows and general surgery residents.

The Trauma Research Program provides aspiring health professionals with first hand exposure to clinical research which emphasizing on national and internal multi-center Trauma Clinical trials to warrant high-level of academic research as the benchmark for clinical trauma care.
