- Clinical rounds
- Dispensing of inpatient and outpatient medications
- Monitor and evaluate patient lab values
- Consultations regarding appropriate use of medication
- Patient/family education
- Evaluating physician orders for drug incompatibility, allergy interactions, and completeness
- Educational in-services to all hospital staff
- Regulatory Responsibilities
- Participation in hospital committee meetings
- Involvement in health fairs and screenings
- Continuing Education
- Preceptor to pharmacy students and residents
