After Hours: See SmartWeb for ID attending on call

Locations served: LLU Medical Center, LLU East Campus Hospital, LLU Rehabilitation Institute, LLU Heart and Surgical Hospital.

General ID Consults:

An ID attending is on call 24/7. Please contact the ID Attending on call, which can be found via the SmartWeb under ‘Infectious Diseases Adult’ for consultation. All patients with an ID Consult order placed before noon will be prioritized to be seen the same day. If a consult order is placed after noon, we cannot guarantee the patient to be seen same day.

Transplant & Immunocompromised ID Consults:

Our Transplant ID physicians are Dr. Jon Arcobello & Dr. Sandy Chang. You may see who is on call via the SmartWeb under ‘Infectious Diseases Transplant’. Patients appropriate for consult by this service are any pre-transplant evaluation, patients with a transplanted organ (Solid & Bone Marrow), patients with active cancer on chemotherapy, & non-transplant patients on immunosuppressive therapies (eg: Rituximab, Cyclophosphamide, Etanercept, etc)

After Hour & Weekend Services:

An ID attending is on call on nights for urgent/emergent questions. See SmartWeb.

Weekend/Holiday consults are available by an ID attending, please contact the physician on call via SmartWeb. All patients with an ID Consult order placed before noon will be prioritized to be seen the same day. If a consult order is placed after noon, we cannot guarantee the patient to be seen same day.
