- How do I apply for the Care for the Caregiver program?
A: Fill out an application and give it to your department head.; They will fill out the reference and send it to the Care for the Caregiver program coordinator. - How can I become a volunteer for NODA/Nursing Bereavement programs?
A: Contact Volunteer Services at (909)558-8022 and tell them you would like to be part of the NODA program. After you have completed the volunteer orientation, you will be notified of our next NODA training. - What resources are available to help me cope with the death of a patient/loved one?
A: A variety of resources are here to help you during difficult times. Employee & Student Counseling Services (ESCS) provides free, confidential counseling. Chaplains (ext. 44367) and Employee Spiritual Care (ext. 48406) staff are available by calling. A Peer Support team (ext. 44367) is ready to help individuals and departments when difficult issues arise. - What printed materials are available for me to share with my patients?
A: Prayer Notes are developed each year, using photographs taken by employees. These cards have a beautiful picture and an inspirational verse, as well as a note letting the recipient know they are being prayed for. Bible Promises is a collection of employees’ favorite scripture verses. Both of these are available through Employee Spiritual Care at ext. 87261. - Where is the department located?
A: Employee Spiritual Care is located on 6th floor in the Medical Center in room 6700H.
