Bloodborne Pathogens Standard
This OSHA standard was developed to eliminate or minimize occupational exposure to HBV, HIV, and other bloodborne pathogens by using a combination of engineering and work practice controls, personal protective clothing and equipment, training, medical surveillance, HBV vaccination, signs and labels, and other provisions.
