Information About Carpool
To be considered for the Carpool program, each carpool must be a vehicle occupied by two - six people traveling together between their residences and their worksites for 51% of the total trip distance.
Employees who carpool together may work at the same location or different locations, same entities or separate entities as long as they are commuting to work in ONE vehicle they may participate in the carpool program.
Incentives
Loma Linda University Health offers incentives to employees who carpool to work together. Incentives include:
- Preferred carpool parking (if available in your assisgned parking lots)
- $25 gift card from preselected retailers for each qualifying month OR 10 gallons of gas per each qualifying month
- Guaranteed Ride Home
In addition to LLUH incentives, the IE Commuter program offers an incentive:
- $2 per day in Stater Bros. Markets vouchers for the first three months of carpooling to work
Qualifications
Carpool is open to both full and part-time employees. To qualify for monthly incentives, carpool teams must:
- Carpool an average of 3 times per week for employees who work an 8-10 hour shift
- Carpool an average of 2 times per week for employees who work a 12-hour shift
