Clinical Epidemiology and Infection Prevention
Our Purpose
Clinical Epidemiology and Infection Prevention is the infection prevention and control department based at the LLUH main campus and Murrieta hospitals. However, our services are provided to the Troesh Medical Center, Children's Hospital, East Campus Hospital, Behavioral Medicine Center, Surgical Hospital, and Murrieta hospitals. Clinical Epidemiology and Infection Prevention endeavors to reduce, for patients, employees, medical staff, contract service workers, volunteers, students, and visitors, the risk of contracting an infectious disease as a consequence of being a patient, visitor or caregiver.
