Acute Care Pediatrics
Our Purpose
Acute Care Pediatrics is a 56-bed unit dedicated to children from birth through 21 years. The care is tailored to meet the physical, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs of pediatric patients and their families. The acute care pediatric nurses take specialized classes and training to provide whole person care to a wide variety of medical and surgical patients. They work closely with and are important members of a progressive multidisciplinary team with the purpose to continue the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.
The intention of this website was to provide our staff (nurses, patient care assistants, and unit secretaries) easy access to some quick reference material. In addition, others within the institution will be able to utilize the information.
If you have any comments or suggestions on how to better improve our website, we look forward to hearing from you.
