Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry website. This site has chemical information on several of the most common chemicals that are encountered. The information includes possible exposure routes, health effects, and treatments where applicable.

One of the Environmental Protection Agency’s websites. This site provides a searchable database for chemical information.

The Envirofacts Warehouse: Master Chemical Integrator. This site will allow you to search for a chemical by name, CAS number, or molecular formula. The search gives you any Internet based information on that chemical, linking you to manufacturers, MSDS, etc.

The Vermont SIRI MSDS database. Allows a search by chemical name as you are looking for. Searches result in manufacturer MSDS.

The National Institute on Health provides a listing (and links) of nearly 20 sites that provide chemical information.
