  1. What determines if a renovation should be done by the Department of Planning, Design & Construction or Campus Engineering?
    A:     Campus Engineering maintains and repairs existing buildings and performs remodels that consist of carpeting and paint.

    Construction Services include a larger scope of change which may include changing walls and moving equipment, electrical air & duct work. Construction Services also performs new construction projects and large capital projects.

  2. What determines whether a job is small or large and what administrative signoffs are necessary?
    A:     Any amount up to $25,000 is the limit for small projects, these can be signed off by the Department Head. Anything over that amount needs a Vice President‘s signoff on the request authorizing the action.
