Updated Masking Guidelines
As of March 1, unvaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear a mask indoors in non-clinical care settings, including meetings, classrooms, and didactic settings. This change in masking policy does not apply to hospital-based locations/departments and other patient care settings.
Booster Update
On February 22, CDPH revised guidance to allow healthcare personnel who have completed their primary vaccination series and provided proof of subsequent COVID-19 infection to defer booster administration for up to 90 days from the date of clinical diagnosis or first positive test, which in some situations, may extend the booster dose requirement beyond March 1. Healthcare personnel may complete their 90-day exemption here.
If you have recently tested positive for COVID-19, you do not need to repeat your testing for 90 days. If you are an unvaccinated employee, or an employee who is booster eligible but not boosted, and you recently tested positive for COVID-19, discontinue testing for 90 days. Complete your 90-day exemption here.
