Honoring Arab American Heritage Month

As we journey through the calendar into April, we invite you to recognize and honor Arab American Heritage Month. This month is a time for celebrating the culture of the diverse population of Arab Americans. Their culture comes from the more than 20 Arab nations throughout the Middle East and North Africa. The people of these nations are ethnically, politically, and religiously diverse but share a common cultural and linguistic heritage.
As an LLUH family, we engage in neighbor love, bearing each other's sorrows, joys, and hopes for the future. The Psalmist David wrote, "You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book." Psalm 56:8 (NLT). As we honor Arab American Heritage Month, we invite you to pause for a moment of remembrance and prayer for the people and families of Gaza and Israel.
Join us this month in honoring Arab Americans here at LLUH and around the country.
