49th Annual Weniger Awards set for Feb 17 at LLU Church

You are cordially invited to the annual meeting of the Charles Elliot Weniger Society for Excellence on February 17 at 4:30 p.m. in the Loma Linda University Church sanctuary. 

The annual Weniger Awards honor significant contributions to the Seventh-day Adventist Church, communities, and the world.

The 2024 awardees are Lowell Cooper, Ginger Ketting-Weller, Merikay McLeod, Lorna Tober, John McVay, and Kimo Smith.

The awards carry the name of Charles Weniger (1896–1964), a former English professor who went on to serve as dean of the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary and encouraged students to explore the worlds of literature, drama, and music to enrich their lives and their sermons.

The event will also be shown live on the lluc.org App/website, Roku access, LLBN, and the Loma Linda University Church YouTube channel.
