Healing Hands 2023 – now accepting grant applications 

Healing Hands grant application submissions are now open through October 31. Healing Hands honorees and/or a member of their department are eligible to apply for this grant. Honorees or a department representative can apply here. Honorees who have received the Healing Hands award within the last year can apply.  

There are multiple grants totaling up to $20,000, once a year, awarded to departments for patient experience improvement initiatives that the department’s budget would not otherwise cover. All submitted applications will be vetted through a reviewing committee composed of leaders across campus. The administration will make the final decision.    

Criteria for applications 

• Supports initiatives that enhance the patient and family experience. 
• Grants must be pre-approved by department leadership to ensure it is something that can be implemented. 
• Submissions must be received by October 31. 
• Is it sustainable? 
• Is it appropriate for our current environment?
