Whole Person Care Grand Rounds – October 17

Join us for a Whole Person Care Grand Rounds seminar on Tuesday, October 17, at 5:30 p.m. at the Loma Linda University Church Fellowship Hall.  

This seminar, “Applying the Science of Compassion Paradigm to Healthcare: Implications for Clinician Well-Being, Patient Experience, Organizational Success and Medical Training,” will feature guest speaker Dominic Vachon, MDiv, PhD, director of the Ruth M. Hillebrand Center for Compassionate Care in Medicine at the University of Notre Dame and professor of the practice teaching courses in the science of compassionate care in medicine, medical counseling skills, and spiritualties of caring in the helping professions.  

Dr. Vachon has devoted the last 30 years of his professional career to supporting and training physicians, residents, medical students, premedical students, nurses, other clinicians, and organizations in patient communication skills, as well as dealing with burnout and the recovery of compassionate care in the inner lives of clinicians.
