Isolation signs update for patient rooms

The message below applies to CH, MC, SH, EC, BMC and Murrieta employees.

The Department of Clinical Epidemiology & Infection Prevention has recently updated the isolation signage for patient entry doors. All isolation signs have a new look and include how to properly remove and dispose of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Isolation signs help inform and protect LLUH employees and visitors from a patient who may have a disease or condition that requires isolation. The signs alert everyone entering the patient room that they are required to put on PPE and how to appropriately remove the PPE when they leave the room.

Please help us protect you and others by following isolation guidelines.

Clinical Epidemiology & Infection Prevention will soon distribute new signage to departments for usage. For questions, please contact Londa Gregg at lgregg@llu.edu.
