LLEAP system pause – June 27

All clinical and business areas using LLEAP will be affected.
A special update will be applied to the Epic electronic medical record system — known at Loma Linda University Health as LLEAP — on Tuesday, June 26.
The impacts will be as follows:
Workflow and tool limitations, the morning of June 26
Limitations start at 10 a.m. June 26 and are scheduled to be lifted by 10:45 p.m. June 27 following the update go-live. Tool limitations will include the ability to correct duplicate encounters or admission errors and similar errors immediately. Issues must be reported to the Service Desk (ext. 48889) and will be rectified after the upgrade.
Also, changes that customize certain aspects of your workflows cannot be made during this time. Temporarily unavailable customization options include:
• Creating or editing SmartPhrases and SmartLinks
• Personalizing Radar dashboards
• Creating, editing, and sharing NoteWriter macros
• Moving your Notes
• Creating or editing QuickActions
• Saving SlicerDicer sessions

System pause June 27
The LLEAP system will pause on Tuesday, June 27, between 10:30 p.m. – 10:45 p.m. for the system update.
The update will cause a pause for approximately 15 minutes. Users can expect to see a pop-up message during the pause stating, "Environment is paused for server updates." Once the pause is complete, users must log out of LLEAP and immediately log back in.
