HazMat for Healthcare courses available

Loma Linda University Health is pleased to announce our upcoming HazMat for Healthcare courses. The HazMat for Healthcare course provides in-depth training on patient decontamination principles, use of Level-C personal protective equipment, and mass decontamination operations and equipment. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive Cal OES CSTI and FEMA certifications. Following completion of the course, employees are eligible to be part of Loma Linda University Health’s Patient Decontamination Disaster Response Team. Note, this course is open to all LLUH employees.

Registration is available now through the Organization Wide Learning (OWL) Portal. Employees who have never taken the course should register for the two-day provider course. Those who have previously completed the course should register for the one-day refresher course every 12 months.
