Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training

Loma Linda University Health is pleased to offer the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program in partnership with the Loma Linda City Fire Department. The CERT program educates citizens about disaster preparedness and the hazards that may occur where they live. CERT offers a consistent, nationwide approach, allowing citizens and emergency responders to partner effectively in a community’s disaster response.
The Loma Linda CERT course will be offered in eight sessions, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the following dates:
- June 1 – Disaster Preparedness
- June 6 – CERT Organization
- June 8 – Disaster Medical Ops 1
- June 13 – Disaster Medical Ops 2
- June 15 – Disaster Psychology/Terrorism
- June 20 – Fire Safety and Utility Controls
- June 22 – Light Search and Rescue
- June 27 – Final Exercise
