The Employee Referral Program is back!

Loma Linda University Health Human Resource Management department is excited to bring back the Employee Referral Program. This incentive-based program invites current employees to help find qualified candidates for eligible positions for the opportunity to earn a cash bonus. This program was placed on hold with the onset of COVID-19 in 2020. However, as we navigate the difficult hiring market, we have decided that now is the time to refresh this excellent employee benefit.

The Employee Referral Program incentivizes existing employees to refer candidates to our positions deemed "difficult to recruit." When referred candidates are hired into "difficult to recruit" jobs, the referring employee receives a referral bonus.

Here are some of the key changes made to the program:

  • A new tiered system that determines payment amount and schedule of payments.
  • Eligibility requirements for referrers:
    • Referrers must remain in good standing with no disciplinary actions.
    • Supervisors are excluded from the referral incentive.
    • Current LLUH employee (referrer) must submit the referral through the One Portal Employee Referral Program page. Note, the referral must be received before the prospective employee applies for employment.
    • Prospective employee must include the referrers name on the application in the referral source section.
