Oasis – annual day of renewal

Join us at Oasis, a day of renewal for all employees, on April 27 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon. This year’s theme is The Power of Stories: how they shape and reshape us and will be presented by Dr. Gina Mohr, Palliative Medicine; Dr. Barbara Hernandez, Physician Vitality; and Leandra McHargue, Care for the Caregiver. Speakers will focus on how the messages we tell ourselves and hear from other people and God have the power to create narratives that shape each of us for good or bad. Opportunities for connecting with others and for artistic expression will be available for those who wish.

Please register on the Organization Wide Learning (OWL) Portal as space is limited. A $25 fee will cover breakfast and lunch for attendees. A drawing will be held and 10 individuals can receive a free ticket. Those interested can email Cheri Moreno, cmoreno@llu.edu, with OASIS in the subject line. Email must include your name, phone number, and work location. Incomplete entries will be excluded from the drawing. Entries are due by March 24 and winners will be contacted by March 31. If you are submitting for the drawing, please wait to register until after the winners are announced on March 31.
