Flu vaccine reminder

To help reduce the potential of flu transmission across the organization, Loma Linda University Health requires all employees to receive a flu vaccination or have a declination form documented by December 31.
Employee Health Services will provide employees the following opportunities to receive the flu vaccine on campus this month:
- Loma Linda campus clinics
- Murrieta campus clinics
- Mobile unit clinics – p.m. and night shift
Employees who receive the flu vaccination outside of the LLUH clinics provided must complete the received elsewhere form.
Reminders:
- Please wear a mask when you visit the on-site clinic.
- Please practice social distancing from others when possible.
- Please remember to bring your badge.

- The CDC recommends that everyone > 6 months of age be vaccinated (with rare exceptions).
- Why should I get the flu shot?
- To protect yourself, your loved ones, our patients, your co-workers, and the community.
- It is possible to be infected with the flu and transmit it to others without ever having symptoms.
- Influenza can make you more susceptible to infection from other pathogens, including COVID-19.
