PTAP designation

In March 2022, the Adult and Children’s RN Residency Program at Loma Linda University Health applied for Practice Transition Accreditation Program (PTAP) designation and completed a virtual visit with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) PTAP appraisers in September 2022.

On Monday, October 24, 2022, the Adult and Children’s RN Residency Program received accreditation as a Practice Transition Program by the ANCC’s Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition for four years with no provisions.

Congratulations on the PTAP designation! This designation is awarded by the ANCC and highlights the amazing program established for new graduate RN residents.

The ANCC PTAP designation sets the global standard for residency programs that transition new Registered Nurses (RN) into the workforce. ANCC's internationally renowned credentialing programs certify and recognize healthcare organizations that promote nursing excellence and quality patient outcomes while providing safe, positive work environments.
