Obstetric Emergency Department (OB ED) is now open for 24-hr care

The San Manuel Maternity Pavilion Obstetric Emergency Department (OB ED) is now open for 24-hour care for pregnant patients who are stable and require emergency care.

Stable pregnant patients with uncontrolled diabetes, uncontrolled hypertension, hyperemesis, COVID-19, or vaginal bleeding and postpartum patients up to six weeks can be seen at the OB ED. Unstable patients requiring life support measures should go to the Emergency Department for stabilization before being transferred to the OB ED.
