COVID-19 announcements — Tuesday, Aug. 25
Due to the decreasing trend in hospitalized COVID-19 patients we will be discontinuing the twice weekly COVID-19 updates and will include pertinent information and the dashboard in News of the Week on Thursday. We will continue to actively monitor and report cases daily to leadership.
Leadership is committed to providing updates and information as needed to ensure our teams have the information they need.
Command Center transition
Loma Linda University Health will discontinue staffing the Command Center phone line (ext. 88555) effective Wednesday, August 26, as part of our organization’s transition from internal disaster condition status to alert status. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic situation daily. The Command Center can still be accessed by emailing lluhcc@llu.edu.
For assistance with operational issues, please escalate requests through existing departmental leadership.
Enhanced Precautions – Patient transporting process revised
The revised guidelines for transporting patients with COVID-19 or under investigation for COVID-19 are now available on the Coronavirus One Portal page. The guide includes information about enhanced precautions for infection control, transportation route and post-transport.
