Temporary suspension of annual fit testing for N95 respirators
Employees have previously been required to undergo annual fit testing for an N95 respirator. However, OSHA has allowed for the temporary suspension of annual fit testing until Dec. 31, 2020.
Initial fit testing is available for employees requiring an N95 mask. The testing takes places from 7–9 a.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday, in the Wong Kerlee International Conference Center lounge (at base of stairs).
Just-in-time testing will still be handled by Respiratory Therapy. Please page #1963.
Employees must bring written approval from a supervisor (such as a printed email) and an approved Medical Clearance Form to the initial fit testing sessions.
