COVID-19 Updates
We continue to be committed to keep our employees as safe as possible. We have implemented universal masking, screening for every visitor or patient, COVID-19 testing for surgery and procedure patients and we screen or test patients before they are admitted to our hospitals. If you work in an area where an N95 mask is not required, please continue to wear your loop mask and practice good hand hygiene. Rest assured that every measure has been taken for your safety and the safety of our patients.
New PAPR process for access and turnaround
Effective Wednesday, July 22, at 0600, we will have a new method to ensure the PAPR package is complete, functional, and returned for reprocessing by Respiratory Care. Please review this information for the latest guidelines.
Employee Reminders
In a continual effort to keep our employees and community safe, and to reduce the number of entrances requiring screening:
- When accessing LLUMC and LLUCH, employees, physicians, and students should only enter through the A-level breezeway entrance to be screened
- Loading docks should only be used by employees as necessitated by their normal duties
- Grand hallway is restricted to patients and limited visitors
Additionally, face coverings or home-made masks should be worn between the parking lot and the employee entrance when coming and going from work.
