Were you exposed to a COVID-19 CONFIRMED positive patient or employee?
The employee health contact investigation team attempts to obtain accurate lists of employees exposed to either confirmed COVID-19 positive patients OR confirmed positive COVID-19 employees. The team then reaches out to complete the contact investigation based on these lists. This process typically takes about 24 hours to get lists and notify everyone. If you have received a call/email from us, then we have your name on our list.
If you believe you were exposed to a confirmed COVID-19 positive patient or employee and we have not contacted you within 24 hours, please email COVID19_Employee_Health@llu.edu with: 1) your name, 2) your phone number, 3) the name of the confirmed COVID-19 positive patient or employee. After receiving this info, we will reach out to follow up with you as soon as possible.
Requesting/Purchasing of PPE
In an effort to order expeditiously and efficiently, Supply Chain Management is grouping all PPE purchase orders across LLUH. Supplies across the nation during this COVID-19 crisis are in high demand. Many vendors are being inundated with multiple requests from customers within the same company. This cluster is causing additional challenges and delays in the supply chain.
Departments should NOT try to order their own PPE equipment. Purchasing agents are seeing an increase in orders for hand sanitizer, masks and thermometers. These items will be distributed through our new internal processes. If your department needs specific PPE items, please email lluhcc@llu.edu or call the Command Center at 909-558-8555.
Please note, purchasing agents cannot add new vendors into the system at this time. Requisitions for supplies from new vendors will be returned. Routine departmental non-PPE orders can continue as normal.
Facial Hair Restriction
In light of our current situation with COVID-19, if the work you are assigned to perform requires use of N-95 masking to perform duties, any facial hair that impedes the seal of an N95 respirator mask will need to be shaved if you are to remain at work. We appreciate that for some, this is a sacrifice; however, this is critical to be able to allow the proper PPE for your safety as well as the safety of our patients.
