Voyce will soon integrate with EHR – July 26

Voyce interpretation services will be available for use from within the EHR and mobile apps on Wednesday, July 26 at 8 a.m. This move is part of an ongoing commitment to appropriately communicate with our patients and families in a language or mode that the patient or surrogate decision-maker can understand.
Clinical staff will be able to launch Voyce and request a specific language for interpretation within the EHR and mobile applications. iPad on Wheels and over-the-phone access to a Voyce interpreter will remain in place. This new functionality will automatically update the encounter with interpretation type, interpreter ID, the language used, and start and end time and lessen the need to update the information within the EHR manually. The interface will not change, and no downtime will occur during this change.
