Voalte app downtime – August 23

All clinical and business areas using Voalte for communications and/or GE Patient Monitor alarms and alerts will be affected on August 23, from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m.
The impact will be as follows:
System downtime August 23:
Voalte secure communications and GE Alerts and Alarms will be offline during the scheduled downtime.
During the downtime:
- Voalte access may be intermittent. Those who may be able to log into Voalte at this time should not assume Alerts and Alarms are operational.
- Any other applications installed on the iPhones will be unaffected and should be used as normal (i.e. Airstrip, Jabber).
- Staff should refer to the alerts from the monitors and notifications from the Monitor Techs.
- Monitor Techs should call a unit directly to communicate with nursing.
After the system upgrade, a message will be sent to all Voalte users confirming that the system upgrade is complete and that GE alarms and alerts are passing through again. All users are encouraged to log in at 6 a.m. and confirm this message.
