Update: COVID-19 Worker Retention Payment program

We are very pleased to inform you that we have now received Worker Retention Payment (WRP) program funding from the State of California's Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). LLUH worked diligently to register for participation in the program, which recognizes the sacrifices made by healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic and aims to stabilize and retain California's healthcare workforce.
Payroll will distribute the WRP payments as a separate check to eligible LLUMC, LLUCH, LLUBMC, LLUMC-M, and LLUSS employees on May 5, 2023. WRP pay is not considered wages and is subject to state and federal tax withholding and reporting requirements. The payment amount for each eligible employee depends on their status and the number of hours worked.
For more information on eligibility, please visit the CA Worker Retention Pay One Portal page.
Your department head has received information regarding eligible employees and the amount they will receive.
If you believe you meet the payment eligibility criteria but do not receive a payment on May 5, 2023, please contact the Human Resource Management Customer Service Center at (909) 651-4001, ext. 14001, or email humanresourcemgt@llu.edu.
Thank you for your continued dedication to patient care and commitment to LLUH.
Other LLUH participating entities include: Loma Linda University Health Care, Loma Linda Inland Empire Healthcare Education Consortium and Faculty Physicians and Surgeons of LLUSM.
