Important information Regarding Holiday PTO in API: (Does not apply to LLIECHE)

Hourly Employees:

  • Holiday PTO and Overtime (All companies): Any overtime accrued during a pay period with a holiday will automatically reduce the amount of Holiday PTO owed to the employee. This allows employees to preserve more of their paid time off balance. Should an employee wish to be paid overtime AND the full amount of Holiday PTO, the employee needs to enter a manual Holiday PTO calendar request for their daily/scheduled hours (not to exceed daily or weekly approved hours).

Salaried Employees

  • Cancel Holiday: Salaried employees who work on a holiday are entitled to have their Holiday PTO returned to their paid time off balance. Employee must enter a calendar request using the date of the holiday, Pay Code = Cancel Holiday, and Hours = 8 to request this action.
  • If a salaried employee intends to take PTO days within the holiday pay period, paid time off balance will need to cover all days (including holidays). If a salaried employee does not have adequate PTO to cover a recognized holiday, the system will automatically allow the time off balance to go in the negative; however, paid time off balances are first reduced by Holiday PTO and takes priority over PTO days.

Reminders:

  • Payday will remain the same.
