Time change to cause LLEAP downtime — November 6

The time will change to Pacific Standard Time (PST) on Sunday, Nov. 6, at 2 a.m. Clocks will ‘fall back’ 1 hour at 2 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT), to 1 a.m. PST.

Due to the time change, most users will not have access to the Epic electronic health record system — known at Loma Linda University Health as LLEAP - from 12:50 a.m. PDT through 1:10 a.m. PST.

Please use downtime procedures and Supports Read Only (SRO) to view patient data during the downtime. To use the SRO shadow server from any workstation:

  • From the Windows start menu, select the LLEAP-SRO icon, or
  • From the Citrix folder, select the LLEAP-SRO icon.
  • Sign in using your standard login and password.
  • You will be able to view but not update data.

Additional special procedures will be in place for Registration, Labor & Delivery and Emergency Department registration. Please review the Fall Standard Time Procedure Tip Sheet (Training Tip Sheets) to prepare for these special procedures.

If you have any questions, please contact the Service Desk at ext. 48889.
