Season of Gratitude Food Drive – Oct. 31 - Nov. 10

Loma Linda University Health’s Office of Employee Spiritual Care’s annual Thanksgiving food drive will support nutritional needs of San Bernardino residents.
Employee donations to the annual Thanksgiving food drive will be collected October 31 to November 10. Donation collection boxes will be placed in a number of locations throughout the organization (see below).
“Fall is a time when we call our blessings to mind, and our hearts turn to thankfulness,” said Kathy McMillan, director of Employee Spiritual Care. “It’s a fact that 2022 has been another difficult year. We’ve all faced the challenge of coping with significantly increasing costs and lack of products in stores. But families who were already struggling have been hit especially hard.”
Food collected during the 10-day drive will be provided to the pantry at the Social Action Community Health System (SACHS) to help provide much-needed nutrition to their patients.
“We invite you to contribute non-perishable food items and diapers as a way to share some of your blessings during this time of gratitude,” McMillan said.
Collection boxes will be available at the following locations:
- LLU Medical Center – A Level employee entrance
- LLU Medical Center East Campus – employee entrance
- Access Center – lobby
- 101 Building – south entrance
- 197 Building – second floor, Finance
- FMO – lobby
- Drayson Center – lobby
- PACE – staff lounge
- LLU Surgical Hospital – employee entrance
