LLEAP system pause – February 7

All clinical and business areas using LLEAP will be affected

A special update will be applied to the Epic electronic medical record system – known at Loma Linda University Health as LLEAP — on Tuesday, February 7.

The impacts will be as follows:

Workflow and tool limitations, the morning of February 7

Limitations start at 11 a.m. February 7 and are scheduled to be lifted by 10:45 p.m. February 7 following the update go-live. Tool limitations will include the ability to immediately correct duplicate encounters or admission errors and similar errors. Issues must be reported to the Service Desk (ext. 48889) and will be corrected after the upgrade.

Also, changes cannot be made during this time period that customize certain aspects of your workflows. Temporarily unavailable customization options include:

• Creating or editing SmartPhrases and SmartLinks

• Personalizing Radar dashboards

• Creating, editing and sharing NoteWriter macros

• Moving your Notes

• Creating or editing QuickActions

• Saving SlicerDicer sessions

System pause February 7

The LLEAP system will pause on Tuesday, February 7, between 10:30–10:45 p.m. for the system update.

The update will cause a pause for approximately 15 minutes. During the pause, users can expect to see a pop-up message stating, "Environment is paused for server updates." Once the pause is complete, users should log out of LLEAP and immediately log back in.

For questions, please contact the Service Desk at ext. 48889.
