LLEAP downtime – November 15

All clinical and business areas using LLEAP will be affected November 15.

A critical update will be applied to the Epic electronic medical record system  — known at Loma Linda University Health as LLEAP — on Tuesday, November 15.

The impact will be as follows:

System downtime November 15

LLEAP will be unavailable from 10:30 p.m. – 12 a.m. on November 15 while the critical update takes place. Please use downtime procedures and the “Supports Read Only” (SRO) server to view patient data during the downtime. This shadow server is a near-real-time copy of Production.

To use the SRO shadow server from any workstation:

  • From the Windows start menu, select the LLEAP-SRO icon, or
  • From the Citrix folder, select the LLEAP-SRO icon.
  • Sign in using your standard login and password. 
  • You will be able to view but not update data.
