Good Samaritan Award accepting nominations

Category:

Do you know an employee who exceptionally demonstrates one or more of Loma Linda University Health’s core values: compassion, excellence, humility, integrity, justice, teamwork, and wholeness? If so, we encourage you to submit their story and nominate them for a Good Samaritan Award.

The Good Samaritan award is a once-in-a-lifetime award for which staff-level employees are eligible to be nominated by Department Heads and their fellow employees.

Nominations are accepted year-round through the inspire website. To submit the employee’s story and nominate them, please follow these steps:

  • Log into the inspire website
  • Navigate to the “Nominate” tab on the red toolbar at the top
  • Select “Good Samaritan Award”
  • Use the search to find the colleague you want to recognize
  • In 5,000 characters or less, describe in detail
    • What value would you like to acknowledge the colleague for?
    • How does this colleague exceptionally demonstrate the value?
    • Remember to use stories and specific examples to help with the selection process.

Recipients will receive the Good Samaritan virtual medallion and a certificate for $100 in points through the inspire–Values Recognition Program.

For questions or more information about this award, please contact Human Resource Management at HumanResources@llu.edu or call 909-651-4001 or dial ext. 14001.
