Patient masking update

Any patient that leaves their patient hospital room is required to wear a face mask for the duration of time outside of the room. The face-covering can be a hospital provided face mask or the patient’s own cloth face mask covering. The acceptable face-covering would not include a bandana, neck gaiter, or vented face mask. If re-using, the patient should store their face covering in a clean manner. If the patient face mask is not clean, excessively moist or the integrity of the mask is compromised (ripped or torn), a new mask should be provided.
